M.A. in Educational Administration and Credential Programs

The M.A. in Educational Administration (K-12) is earned simultaneously with the credential program with one additional research course (Ed Ad 253) and a master's Action Research thesis project. It is a 2 year, 30 unit program.

The focus area for the K-12 Educational Administration degree can be in one of several cohorts:

  1. The Preliminary Administrative Credential Tier 1. Go to Admissions

  2. The Tier 1 credential with a focus on preparing for leadership in urban high schools. The Urban High School Leadership Program is a partnership arrangement with districts who select potential leaders and support them in the 2 year program. A team approach is used for the research for the Action Research project. Contact Dr. Marsha Speck.

  3. The Master's in Teacher Leadership is a partnership arrangement with a district in which teachers who want to earn the M. A. and a Tier 1 credential focus on collaborative leadership and team research for the Action Research project. Contact Dr. Martin Krovetz.

  4. The Professional Administrative Credential Tier 2. Go to Admissions
