Dear Connie L. Lurie College of Education Alumnus,

Welcome to the Connie L. Lurie College of Education Alumni Board portion of this website! The Alumni Association has a proud tradition of linking current, future, and past teachers and educators at San Jose State University.

As a Board, we have several annual traditions including our Scholarship Reception at Kelley Park, the honoring of retiring teachers in Santa Clara County at our One Room Schoolhouse, and a mentoring service for new teachers.

The mentoring program, comprised of retired teachers in the Santa Clara Valley who are graduates of San Jose State University, are willing to listen to concerns, discuss classroom management, and provide the encouragement necessary for success. We currently have counseling services available for new SJSU teachers in speech therapy, pre-school, kindergarten, middle-school, counseling, industrial arts, resource specialists, high school science, and grades 1-6.
