Teacher Certification for Employment Outside of California
If you are seeking employment outside of California and:
- completed your credential coursework at San Jose State University
or
- completed your credential coursework at San Jose State University AND hold a California teaching credential
please mail the following documents to the Credentials Office at the address below:
- Teacher certification form from the state where you are seeking employment
- Copies of transcripts (unofficial or official) from all colleges where teacher preparation/credential coursework was taken
- Copies of all credentials held
- Address to where you want the form mailed
- $15 Fee - Pay online at:
https://epay.sjsu.edu/C21344_ustores/web/index.jsp - Submit a copy of your proof of $15 payment
