C. Other Requirements:
U.S. Constitution:
California law requires that you pass either a college level course or an approved test that covers the U.S. Constitution. If you took a course, it must be identified on an approved list. A credential analyst in the Credentials Office in SH 107 can verify if a course is approved. Click here for a list of approved courses and/or for testing information
Second-Language Proficiency:
This requirement is only applicable to students enrolled in BCLAD Spanish Program.
Certificate of Clearance:
A Certificate of Clearance is required before you begin student teaching (EDEL 143A & EDEL 143B). The process involves a health check and a search of police records.
