Conditionally Classifed Standing

Applicants who do not meet admissions requirements for Classified Standing may, in some instances, be admitted to Conditionally Classified Status in the Master's degree program. Admission to Conditionally Classified Standing requires approval of the Graduate Coordinator. It carries with it requirements that must be met in order for the student to petition for a change in graduate classification. A student who has been admitted "Graduate Conditionally Classified" must change his or her status officially using the appropriate forms before he or she will be admitted to candidacy in the graduate program or be able to graduate.
