Literacy Across the Curriculum for an Equitable Society (LACES)
What are the admission requirements?
- A minimum GPA of 3.0 in order to be eligible for admission to the Graduate School at San José State.
- A valid teaching credential.
- Regular access to K-8 students in a classroom.
- Prerequisite coursework required in second language acquisition (e.g., EDTE 162, EDTE 262, or EDTE 290B), socio-cultural foundations (e.g., EDEL 103 or EDSE 172), and an introduction to literacy instruction (e.g., EDEL 108A, EDSE 138A).
