Fall 2008 application deadline is Friday, August 1 @ noon. Deadlines maybe earlier for different program options. Please visit the Credential Program section of our website for application and admission information.
June 2, 2004:
A new program option titled "Middle Level Emphasis" has been added to SJSU's Multiple Subject Credential Program.
4/29/2004:
Curriculum Update: New Opportunity for Students Curriculum Choices.
Beginning in the Fall 2004 Semester, Multiple Subject Credential students will have the opportunity to take EDTE 260( Critical Perspectives on Schooling for a Pluralist Democracy) and/or EDTE 246( Classroom Management and Governance) . EDTE 246 can be taken concurrent to EDEL 143A and EDEL 143B. EDTE 260 can only be taken concurrent to EDEL 143B.
3/10/2004:
Clarification of Ryan VS SB 2042 Credential
Any student in the Multiple Subject Credential Program who entered prior to January 1, 2004 plus has been enrolled continuously is under the Ryan Credential. The Ryan act will expire on December 31, 2005. Any credential work completed beyond that date will fall under SB 2042 requirements.
