The SJSU Emeritus and Retired Faculty Association (SJSU ERFA )invites you to become a member of our organization. You are eligible whether you are fully retired or still on FERP. The primary purpose of the SJSU ERFA is to maintain contact with friends and colleagues as the years go by. To do this, we provide an annual Directory with up-to-date addresses and mail out a newsletter five times a year. The latter provides news of events and changes taking place on campus and information about members. We also host occasional get-togethers: a “Holiday Celebration” every December and two luncheons each year, with speakers or entertainment provided. In addition, we schedule occasional field trips to museums, historical sites or places of interest throughout the Bay Area. You are welcome to participate in any or none of the events, as you see fit.

We are pleased to provide you with your first year's membership free of charge, to acquaint you with the organization. After that, membership dues are a mere $24.00 per year, primarily to cover the cost of mailings.

Please include a check for $24.00 payable to SJSU ERFA (newly retired faculty need not send a check as the first year's membership is free). We will enter your name and contact information into our annual Directory, which is distributed to all members so they can contact friends and colleagues if they wish.
