Kenneth Rexroth and the San Francisco Poetry Renaissance

Kennth Rexroth, another Federal Writers' Project contributor,
went on to become one of the leading figures in the San Francisco
Poetry Renaissance. Professor Alan Soldofsky discusses his life and
works and presents some of Rexroth's poetry October 6th, from 6 p.m
to 7:15 p.m in Rooms 225/229, 2nd Floor. Professor Soldofsky
directs the Creative Writing Program in the Department of English
and Comparative Literature at San Jose State University, and is
also the coordinator of the M.F.A. program in Creative Writing.
Part of our series is
Soul of a People: Writing America's Story.
Admission is free. This program is supported by a grant from the
