Minor in Professional and Technical Writing

Similar to the Concentration in Career Writing, students enroll in English 129, the core course for this concentration. Students receive hands-on experience in planning and writing two publications: The English Department Newsletter and The Writing Life.

To see descriptions of these courses, check the general course descriptions. Faculty usually provide a more extensive description of the courses when they are offered.

Check with the Career Writing Program Coordinator at least once each semester to track your progress.
