  • San Jose State University ranks 43rd on Sierra Club's 'Cool Schools 2017 Full Ranking' list in the sustainability category! This is the highest of the 21 campuses of the California State University system. High praise to Kristen Wonder, campus sustainability manager and a SJSU Environmental Studies graduate, and SJSU Environmental Studies professor Katherine Cushing.

Here is a link to Michelle White's Better Know a Department: Environmental Studies.

  • Congratulations to Michael Hobbs for publishing his journal article about improved camera traps for amphibians, reptiles, small mammals, and large invertebrates. It was also featured in a press release with USGS.
