GradesFirst is the student advising system used by EOP to assist students academically and includes the following features:

*Students with a gpa above 2.300 (good standing) are not sent requests for progress reports. Incoming Fall students are sent one additional progress report in the following Spring semester, regardless of gpa.

Effective Spring 2012:

 

If you are a student and need a reactivation email sent to you that will allow you to login to GradesFirst, please send an email to eop@sjsu.edu with GRADESFIRST RESET REQUEST in the subject line and provide the following information in the body of the e-mail:

 
  • Your full name.
  • Your SJSU ID.
  • That you are requesting the GradesFirst reactivation email be sent to you.
 

 

 

If you are a student and need to change your email address, please send an email to eop@sjsu.edu with GRADESFIRST E-MAIL ADDRESS UPDATE REQUEST in the subject line and provide the following information in the body of the e-mail:

 
  • Your full name.
  • Your SJSU ID.
  • The request to change your email to the new email address. In the email message, please also include your old email and your new email.
 

 

 

If you are a student and have forgotten your password and/or login information, please send an email to eop@sjsu.edu with GRADESFIRST FORGOTTEN PASSWORD/LOGIN REQUEST as the subject line and the following information in the body of the e-mail for verification purposes.

  • Your full name
  • SJSU ID
  • Request: The information you are requesting (password reset, login information or both)
  • Verification: Please provide 1 of the following items for verification purposes:
    • Date of Birth, including year
    • Mailing Address, including street, city, state and zip
