GradesFirst is the student advising system used by EOP to assist students academically.

It includes the following features:

• Online appointment scheduling
• Enhanced early alert
• A communication center for e-mail and text messaging
• Progress report generation and tracking
  
  

Students

Please see our guide detailing how to make a tutoring request through GradesFirst.

If you encounter an issues with logging on to GradesFirst  and you know your username or your e-mail address on file with GradesFirst and you just need your password reset please click here and follow the instructions there.

If you:

• Need a reactivation e-mail sent
• Need to update your e-mail address
• Need your username and/or password because you cannot remember it

Then please e-mail eop@sjsu.edu with "GradesFirst Issue" in the subject line. Please include which of the three things you are requesting and please include your Date Of Birth (DOB) and your Student ID Number for verification of your identity. This will enable us to process your request as soon as possible.

Faculty

If you have questions regarding progress reports and submission of those progress reports, please visit our GradesFirst Faculty Guide

SJSU faculty do not need to create a GradesFirst account in order to be able to submit progress reports.

Progress report campaigns are typically sent out in October and March.
