The EOP Peer Mentor Program is designed to assist a small group of first-year San Jose State University EOP students adjust to their first year in college. EOP peer mentors provide leadership, support, and share their knowledge and experience engaging new students in college activities and study skills development. They provide valuable information and practical ways to utilize support services offered on campus.
You can make a difference in students’ lives at SJSU by becoming an Educational Opportunity Program mentor. Experienced EOP students are uniquely qualified to provide mentoring to current EOP students. The requirements are minimal. The rewards are long-lasting.
