Registration for the 2009 session of Expanding Your Horizons is now closed. Please stay tuned for information about next year's conference.
All registration is online. The registration form requests information (such as ethnicity and math and science courses taken) that we need for fund raising and reporting purposes. Please fill out the registration form as accurately as possible.
After filling out the online registration form, your confirmation page will appear on the screen. Print that confirmation page and send it with your payment. You will also receive a confirmation email. The fee of $18 (which applies to both students and adults) includes lunch. We do not accept credit card payment. Checks should be made out to “SJSU EYH”.
Adults who are registered may quietly observe the student workshops.
If you wish to bring a group of 10-40 students, email us by February 1, 2009 at ExpandingYourHorizons@sjsu.edu. You will then receive a group number which is needed when you register. Fill out the online registration forms by February 8, and payment must be received by February 15. Groups must provide chaperone(s) with one chaperone designated to oversee at most 10 girls. For example, a group of 25 girls needs 3 chaperones. We reserve the right to limit the size and number of groups.
Note: We are no longer taking group reservations. If you would like to bring a group, you may register them individually.
A student's application fee may be waived if the student is in a school lunch program. Please check the appropriate box on the student application form. If you are not in a school lunch program but need a fee waiver due to special circumstances, email us at ExpandingYourHorizons@sjsu.edu. A limited number of fee waivers are available this year.
Email us by February 21 to request a refund. NO refunds will be given after February 21.
There is NO on-site registration. You cannot register at the conference.
A photographer may take pictures of you or your child. These photos may appear on our web site or in publications. If you register yourself or your child, you have given us permission to use your or her photos.
