Recycling/Moving ServicesRecycling ServicesRecycling Services is tasked with developing and implementing a comprehensive waste and recycling program. Working collaboratively with the campus community, this unit oversees areas of waste prevention, recycling, recycled product research, public education and campus recycling procedures. A plan has been developed to comply with all federal, state, and local statutes and regulations governing solid waste issues. Facilities Management has been charged with oversight for compliance with AB75. Facilities Management has been instrumental in making this program successful with a current waste diversion of 67.3%. For questions regarding recycling at SJSU contact recycle@sjsu.edu Moving ServicesMoving Services is provided as a service to the campus community. If a piece of furniture or equipment is to be reused there is a cost for the move. If the item is to be recycling, there is currently no charge. Please use the procedure below to request service.
You will be contacted to schedule a moving day and time. If you have any questions, please contact Facilities Customer Service at 4-1990. We ask that you schedule 2-3 weeks in advance of your anticipated move date.
