Directions for Weekly Reader Response

Each week you must prepare an informal written response to the course reading.  These responses are designed to help you process your reactions and thoughts to the texts.  Ideally, you will build upon these when you write your formal essays for the course.  You may choose to write on whatever text peaks your interest; feel free to write about connections and patterns you notice between or among texts.  These responses should be around 300 words (typed, double-spaced).  They will be collected every Thursday.  No late papers will be accepted for this assignment.
