The poems to be explored here are comprised of the shorter works of each author. Without delving too much into his personal history i.e. how he was addicted to opium, and instead sticking to excerpts of Biographia Literaria, the main works that will be explored for Coleridge are the following:
"Kubla Khan," "The Eolian Harp," and "Work Without Hope."

To make the comparison with Shelley work, excerpts from his A Defense of Poetry will be used in conjunction with the following poems:
"Hymn to Intellectual Beauty," "To a Skylark," and "To Wordsworth."
