Why Bother to Register?

By enrolling in WEBCT you will be able to chat with your fellow student and mentor teachers: Many of our discussions in the seminars will be strucutured around the WebCT chatboard discussion. The process will be to take the pre-test* participate in chat, discuss in seminar, then take the post-test.

*These pre-tests are not graded. The purpose of all of this is to have a more sophisticated and interesting seminar.

Where do I get my WebCTID number?

Your WebCT ID number is the same as the Key Number and the same one that you use for MySJSU.

Enter your WebCT ID and password. Your password for now is either spring or fall depending on which semester you are enrolled. You may change this password later, but don't be in a hurry to do so until you are familiar and confident of the procedures of the website.

Click on LOGIN to continue the process.

Completing this screen creates your WebCt account and sets the WebCt ID and Password that you will use to log in so you can participate in web discussions. or live chat

My WebCt gives you access to all your WebCt courses. It allows you to share information with other student and mentor teachers.

You will be taken to a screen that has boxes that ask for our WebCTID and your password. See Below.

Enter your WEBCTID in the first circled box. Enter the word spring or fall in the second box. That's it. You're in.
