In 143A, no lesson plan, no observation; HOWEVER, like other scaffolding during 143B, lesson plans are optional UNLESS requested. During the solo weeks, an overall weekly plan should be emailed. This plan should be as detailed as your mentor teacher requires.

Several websites are available for help with lesson planning. See WebLinks. Also, Teacher's Editions can be very helpful for beginning teachers. If you follow the teacher's guides, you will have a good basic lesson. As you gain experience, you will want to add supplemental material.
