Instructor Responsibilities

As the instructor for this course, I will plan meaningful activities designed to help my students be effective teachers.  I will try very hard to make class interesting, with an awareness of the fact class meets late in the day. 

I will make certain that my assignments are relevant and are never, ever "busy work."  I will be available by phone, email and in person to help my students with the assignments or any other aspect of the course.  All graded assignments will be carefully evaluated and will be graded as objectively as possible.  I will grade every assignment fairly. 

I will attend every class session and will be on time.  Knowing that 3 hours is a long time to go without a break, I will schedule a break for every class session. 

Students will be shown respect.  I will be truthful, honest and open.
