ASSIGNMENT: Make a collage composition which portrays the principle of EMPHASIS through placement, islolation, and/or contrast.
Parameters: Shapes should be geometric, of varying sizes.
Materials: Bristol Board, magazines, colored paper, scissors, rubber cement
CRITERIA - to be discussed during the critique:
- The successful creation of EMPHASIS and the ability to discuss the strategies used
- Complexity of composition (that it is interesting and formally successful)
- Presentation, neatness, finish.
