During this semester students are expected to visit a musuem. See INFORMATION page for links to museums.

Bring your journal and a pencil.

Find 5 different artworks (any medium) and make one drawing on a journal page fore EACH. Choose sculpture, drawing or painting. You can use any style of drawing covered in class. Draw the entire piece. If copying a painting, draw a frame and check proportions.

Include an introductory page before your drawings. This page should be tabbed with a piece of tape an should include:

• The name of Museum visited
• Date visted
• General notes, reactions etc. about your visit.

On the each of the 5 drawing pages you must include the following information:

• Title of work
• name of artist
• date, etc. (information is usually on a tag next to work)
