MONICA D. GALVAN M.A.
LECTURER COLLEGE OF EDUCATION
Welcome to my web site.
I received a B. A. in psychology, from the University of California Santa Cruz, and a M. A. in Education/Counselor from San Jose State University. I am currently a lecturer in the Department of Education at San José State University. I teach graduate level courses at the Department of Counselor Education.
My current research
interests are mainly interdisciplinary and focus on: multicultural issues,
limited English proficient individuals, and counseling in education. In
addition, I am the director of Santa Cruz Spanish Program. Apart from my
teaching responsibilities, I enjoy learning from my six-year-old son and
spending time with my family.
