we are committed to the new tools of the trade. we encourage our students to learn, experiment, and use our desktop systems. we teach courses in web design, cd-rom design, set design, costume design, 2d design, and 3d design in our multi-media lab.

 

our production sector benefits from desk top macs, windows, and windows nt systems to edit, produce graphics, post audio, and apply special effects. we do have traditional film editing and video linear editing systems.

our post-production 190 students learn the modern techniques of film and video post. guest speakers such as peter moyer of hollywood's famous digital film works, share their work with our students. annually, most of rtvf 190 students get a tour of some of the top hollywood post-production and effects houses and drool over or get exposed to the new gear and meet the professionals who use them.
