birthday,
Steinbeck's Birthday
Gala was held
together with
Film Showing and Discussion
of "The Pearl."

We had a birthday cake of
course.
It was a rainy evening,
but a lot of Steinbeck aficionados showed up.
This month presentation
was "The Pearl."
As always Prof. Shillinglaw's
lecture was energetic and enlightening.
