[ Thanksgiving
in Connecticut ]
*
By
invitation of my former host family
I've
spent Thanksgiving week
in
Connecticut.
It
was almost ten years
since
I last visited there.
Thanks
to them
I
could meet lots of my old acquaintances.

I didn't know
Thanksgiving was such a big event for the Americans, so I couldn't secure
direct flight to New York because of late reservations.

I had to
change planes at St. Paul / Minneapolis (Northwest), but the captain was
very friendly, and I could have a nice shot for myself.
*
Even though
there was 2-hour delay, the flight itself was not so bad.

This is the
house of my former host family, the Fanslows, in Stratford, Connecticut.

On Thanksgiving
day we went to Black Rock Castle, an Irish restaurant, for dinner.

Sorry, I
didn't have turkey, instead I had shrimp. But I did eat pumpkin. On my
right, my former host parents, Al and Carole.
