[ Thanksgiving in Connecticut (2) ]

*
During my stay in Stratford,
my former host family took me out
to the local restaurants
they've frequented.
Most of them are new to me,
and I learned that
most of the restaurants which I knew
went out of business.
Time flies...

Dinner at Shell Station on 26th.

This restaurant is one of the few ones which I know, but the owner has been changed. On Carole's left is Eric, who had been active in Danish Committee of HISP.

*

Brunch at Mernicks on 27th.

Since Mernicks is situated by seaside overlooking Long Island Sound, this place is very popular.

*

Dinner at Jeffrey's on 27th.

On my left is Deb, Carole's niece. When I was a grad student at UB, she was a cute little girl, and I went to her school for "Show-and-Tell" with my Yukata on.

*

Dinner at Jack's house on 28th.

Jack is a family friend of the Fanslows, and he is a superb cook (his real job is a chemical engineer).

*

Dinner at Milford Gathering on 29th.

Carole couldn't come because of church meeting in Hartford.
