Chawton Cottage

Chawton Cottage, near Winchester, where Jane Austen (1775-1817) moved with her mother and sister Cassandra in 1809 and lived until she fell ill in 1817. Here she revised "
Sense and Sensibility," turned "First Impressions" into "Pride and Prejudice," and wrote "Mansfield Park" and "Emma."
