Bio

Dr. Pyeon received both his master's and doctor's degrees in civil engineering from the Unversity of Florida. Dr. Pyeon teaches and conducts research in the area of construction engineering and management. His research interests include seeking efficient ways to improve the construction process, assessing uncertainty in construction, and developing decision support systems. Specific research areas are alternative contracting methods, project delivery systems, sustainable construction, project risk management, and innovative construction techniques. Current research projects include the evaluation of alternative contracting techniques and the estimation of maintenance of traffic quantities and cost. Dr. Pyeon teaches undergraduate course in construction methods and equipment and graduate courses in construction management and informatin systems in construction management. Dr. Pyeon is a member of the Construction Research Council, Construction Institute.
