    • Submit application with appropriate documentation to department chair and departmental professional leaves committee.

 

Within Three (3)
Weeks of Submission

 

    • Departmental committee notifies applicant of recommendation and reasons.
    • Department Chair provides applicant with statement of the proposed leave's impact on department.

 

Within Seven (7) Days of Receiving Departmental Committee Recommendation

 

    • Applicant may respond in writing to the recommendation.

 

Within Seven (7) Days of Receiving Departmental Chair's Statement of Impact

 

    • Applicant may respond in writing to the recommendation.

 

Within Two (2) Weeks of Receiving the Application, Including Any Responses Received, and Departmental Recommendations

 

    • Dean notifies applicant of recommendation and reasons.

 

Within Seven (7) Days of Receiving the Dean's Recommendation

 

    • Applicant may respond in writing to the recommendation.

 

Within Two (2) Weeks of Receiving Complete Application Including Any Responses Received from Office of Faculty Affairs

 

    • President considers prior recommendations and responses from applicant and notifies applicants, Dean, department Chair, and departmental committee of final status of application and reasons for decision.
