SJSU adopted Faculty 180 as our software partner in 2016 for use in faculty processes supervised by the Office of Faculty Affairs. Following a nomination and voting process, the name eFaculty was selected as our local name.
All RTP processes will occur through eFaculty in 2017-2018.
eFaculty is an activity reporting database. Faculty enter scholarship, teaching, and service activity information. This information can be automatically populated in an electronic dossier for RTP processes, tables and reports for accreditation uses, and for other department, college, and university-level reporting.
Based on user surveys and feedback, eFaculty is currently being updated and revised for the 2017-18 RTP process. Faculty can begin entering their information at any time, although small changes to the systems will be on-going until August 1.
A comprehensive guide to entering information will be available by August 1 and the Center for Faculty Development will begin hosting Open Labs and training for chairs, directors, and college contacts onAugust 7.
