Applying/Re-Applying for Financial Aid
The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) begins every year on January 1. Fill out the appropriate application corresponding to the academic year of attendance. For instance, the 2012-2013 FAFSA corresponds to Fall 2012-Spring 2013.
Complete the FAFSA by the priority filing date of March 2. Applicants may use an estimated income on the FAFSA if federal tax return will not be completed by the priority filing date. A FAFSA may still be submitted after the priority filling date, however funding may be limited. Use your legal name as it appears on your Social Security Card.
