    Important Notes!

    1.     March 2, 2008 is the priority filing date for the FAFSA. If you will not complete your federal tax return by the priority filing date, use an estimated income on your FAFSA. Your application must be transmitted on-line or postmarked by March 2.  You may still complete the FAFSA application after the priority filling date of March 2nd.

    2.     The federal school code for SJSU is 001155.

    3.     Do not file or sign your FAFSA prior to January 1, 2008. If you file or sign your FAFSA early, you will be sent a rejected Student Aid Report (SAR) which must be re-signed, dated and returned to FSA.

    4.     Cal Grant GPA Verification: All students who were enrolled at SJSU during Fall 2007 and who have completed 24 units at SJSU will be considered for Cal Grant. Students who were admitted for Spring 2008 must submit a GPA Verification Form completed by their prior school of attendance. All GPA verification forms must be submitted by March 2, 2008 to the California Student Aid Commission.
