University Housing for Financial Aid Students

All newly admitted freshman, transfer, and lower division students for Fall 2017 - Spring 2018, with an Expected Family Contribution (EFC) of $0 - $800, as calculated by the completion of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and the California Dream Act Application, may qualify for a 50% reduction in the required initial housing payment.

Qualifying students will only have to make an initial payment of $300.00 instead of the full $600.00. Please be reminded that the housing application is not complete until all steps have been completed: submit the $50.00 application fee, complete the on-line housing application, and remit the $300.00 initial payment by the submission deadline. All steps must be completed in the online Housing Portal. Students eligible for the reduction will automatically receive the reduction when completing their application online.

The reduction policy is not available for currently enrolled students and graduate students.
