Architectural Trades Group: Lock Shop
The Lock Shop is located on the east side of the Corporation Yard building, facing
10th street.
The Lock Shop maintains the campus key inventory and tracking system of key issuance and provides service for hundreds of door locks, cabinets, files, and padlocks. When doors do not function properly, this shop is called on for assistance.
The following is a list of some of the services provided by this shop:
- Manual, keyless, and computerized access control systems
- Locking systems design, remodel, and renovation
- Door closure, hardware installation, maintenance, and repair
- Key cutting for manual locking systems
- Programming cards for keyless systems
- Keyless entry system programming
- Re-keying and lock changing
