Clark Hall

Way To Clark Hall

Background

Clark Hall was built in 1984-1986 as the campus library and named for former SJSU President (1964 -1969) Robert D. Clark. When the MLK Library opened, the Clark Library was became available to accommodate much needed administrative, lecture and computer lab space as required by students. The ground level is a unique computer lab space which provides students an alternative area of study offering internet access in a quiet yet casual environment. The first 3 floors now offer an array of services including classrooms, conference rooms, and offices.

Scope of Work: Interior

The purpose of the renovation project was to repair, replace and upgrade the Clark Library to be a more functional facility that would meet the demand for more office space, classroom space and a computer lab area that was quiet yet casual.
