About Us
In support of San José State’s mission, the Budget and Risk Management Office:
- Provides professional expertise, guidance and support in developing and administering the University’s operating and capital budgets
- Reports the University’s annual budget plan
- Monitors, analyzes and reports on the University’s financial performance
- Works collaboratively with the campus community to promote the University’s financial strength and integrity
- Consult with the campus community on Risk Mitigation implementation strategies
- Work with the CSU Office of Risk Management and the Office of General Counsel to investigate and manage claims against the University
