Finance Users Group
The Finance Users Group (FUG) consists of administrative personnel with budget, accounting and/or purchasing responsibilities who are users of the PeopleSoft Finance system. The Finance system includes the General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Purchasing, Accounts Receivable/Billing and Asset Management modules.
FUG performs the following functions:
- Brings together the Finance & Administrative Technology Service Group, which manages the Finance system from a functional (as opposed to a technical) standpoint, with end users of that system.
- Provides the Finance & Administrative Technology service group with a means of disseminating information to key users and receiving feedback on proposed new initiatives.
- Provides a forum for end users to bring issues and problems to Finance management's attention.
- Focuses on improving PeopleSoft processes and reports and the related business processes.
