Media Center

The Media Center of the Department of Foreign Languages at San José State University is a resource center for students enrolled in foreign language courses and programs. Located in Clark Hall 208, the Media Center is open weekdays. Our equipment is available for on-site use only to students taking at least one class in the Department of Foreign Languages.

The Media Center is open for students to take placement tests for various languages: Chinese, French, German, Japanese, Spanish and Vietnamese. The tests are taken on the computer and results are immediately available for you to take to your advisor. The Media Center is also a place for Faculty to leave materials for students, which may include, make-up exams, as well as materials related to their curriculum (DVDs, CDs, Audio). Faculty may also make reservations to use various pieces of electronic equipment.
