Campus Location:
The Graduate Admissions and Program Evaluations Office is in the Student Services Center, which sits at the corner of 9th and San Fernando Streets on the north portion of SJSU campus in downtown San José.

The Student Services Center (SSC) is also home to other offices, including the Registrar's, Bursar's, Financial Aid and Scholarship, and Academic Advising and Retention Services.


Hours of Operation:
Monday-Thursday 8:15am - 4:45pm 

9am - 4:30pm 

On Saturday, Sunday, and most national and state holidays we are  closed. 

Our front desk is open during business hours (including lunch hour) to help with student inquiries and document certification (if applicable to your country).

No appointment is necessary. However, if you wish to speak to an evaluator or data specialist, please contact them directly prior to visiting the office, as their availability may be limited.

Current Students: Most answers to your general questions can be found under our Current Students section. For candidacy or graduation status, please check My SJSU. However, if you find that you still have questions, please feel free to email your evaluator with specific questions on candidacy or graduation. Please include your nine-digit student ID# for faster service and allow some turnaround time to get a response. Emails are generally replied within 48 hours. However, some questions may be forwarded for specialists to reply and may take longer to answer.

Please make sure you detail all inquiries in full and also remember to provide valid contact information for our staff to assist you. Before contacting us, please make every effort to find the information you are looking for through our website.
