Program Leader: Lynne Andonian
Associate Professor, Lynne Andonian, PhD, OTR/L, earned a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from Boston University, an MA degree in Industrial Design from the Pratt Institute, Brooklyn, New York, and a PhD in Organizational Systems from Saybrook University, San Francisco. She has over 25 years of clinical experience, primarily in mental health, in a variety of settings including inpatient hospitals, outpatient partial hospitalization programs, public schools, and community-based settings. Dr. Andonian has also worked abroad with people with disabilities in Zambia and Uganda. She has presented nationally and internationally on her research interests that include community advocacy for underserved groups in the US and abroad, people with mental illness, international and multicultural issues, and occupational therapy clinical education.
Program Leader: Ruth Rosenblum
Assistant Professor Ruth Rosenblum, DNP, MS, RN, PNP-BC, earned a BSN from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a masters in nursing from Northwestern University in Chicago. She received a post-Master's Pediatric Nurse Practitioner certificate from the University of California-San Francisco, and her DNP from the University of San Francisco. She has been an advanced practice nurse for over 20 years. She maintains a Child Neurology practice at Valley Medical center in San Jose CA. Dr Rosenblum has a special interest in headaches, tics and High Risk Infant Follow up. She has taught at at San Jose State University since 2006, and has led Faculty-Led Programs to Belize and Finland. Additionally, she has been instrumental in the collaborative online Doctor of Nursing Practice program, a joint venture between SJSU and Fresno State.
