Programs and Events
Through our partnership with CAPS, we offer workshops every 2nd Tuesday of the month on topics such as time management, study skills, stress management, and talking with your family about college. Can't attend on Tuesdays? Visit Life Skills—Workshops and Groups to find other eligible workshops and group meeting times. Register at SJSU Events or at Facebook.com/FirstGenSJSU.
Join a welcoming, social environment to take part in games, stress management activities, and enjoy free food and test materials (scantrons, green books, etc.)
Our program hosts 3 events per semester. Click the link above to learn more about them, and how to register.
Have you ever felt lost, confused, or simply unsure during your college journey? You’re not alone. Join our student group, dedicated to promoting leadership, visibility, support, coordinated resource exchange, and college success for those who identify as first-generation college students.
Join the First-Generation Student Group in it's new campus resource field trip series. Every 3rd and/or 4th Tuesday afternoon, students will be personally connected to a variety of resources on campus.
Interested in our programming? Wondering when and where it takes place and what's available? Check out our semester calendar!
Are you interested in graduate school, but are unsure how to get there? Do you have
questions about college in general? Starting March 4th from 10am-12noon, we will be
hosting "Ask A Grad Student" office hours. Come to MOSAIC with your questions every
1st and 3rd Friday of the month, and by appointment.
