welcome spartan parents & families!
Parent Orientation was designed with YOU in mind. During this one-day, optional program running concurrently with your student’s orientation session, you will be welcomed alongside your student into the Spartan community.
Family members play an important role in their student’s successful transition at SJSU. During the program, you will learn a great deal about the many resources available to your student. You will have the opportunity to meet various faculty, staff, current students, and other parents and hear first hand their diverse experiences here at SJSU. In preparation for Parent Orientation, please consult our list of helpful tips for new Spartan parents.
We encourage you to attend Parent Orientation so that you can learn more about SJSU and be a helpful resource to your student. We look forward to seeing you soon!
