Academic Advising & Retention Services

Looking for advising? Have questions about general education? Transferring in from another college?If so, AARS is the place to go to help you establish a course schedule and register for first semester of classes.

This is YOUR student government! Check out their services and use your voice at SJSU!

Bursar's Office

This is the place to pay your bills and get your Tower ID card. Financial aid refunds and tuition and fee waivers are also managed by this office.

Explore the campus, get to know your new community, and learn about SJSU history!

Career Center

Get career planning tips and learn how to develop your resume, go on an interview, and market yourself to potential employers. The Career Center also posts job listings for students and hosts job/career fairs throughout the academic year.

Disability Resource Center

DRC is a comprehensive center providing both students and employees with accommodations and services. The center works closely with faculty/staff to deliver services and promote access for students with disabilities in the classroom and throughout the campus.

Educational Opportunity Program

EOP provides admission, academic, and financial support and assistance to low-income and educationally disadvantaged undergraduate students. Explore their programs and services and discover if EOP can help you succeed in college!

Financial Aid & Scholarship Office

Do you have any questions about your financial aid package, filling out the FAFSA, or how to find scholarships? This is the place to go.

International House

Interested in learning about different cultures? Consider living in the International House, a co-ed residence for 70 US and International students attending San José State University. The I-House is located within a 5 minute walk of campus and is a large, comfortable home with friendly interaction among students of many cultures.

Peer Connections

Peer Connections is the new campus-wide resource for mentoring and tutoring. Students are encouraged to take advantage of our services, which include course-content based tutoring, enhanced study and time management skills, more effective critical-thinking strategies, decision-making and problem-solving abilities, and campus resource referrals.

Records & Registration

This office manages transcript requests, adding and dropping classes, and applications for graduation.

San José Downtown Association

Learn all about upcoming downtown San José events and get information about downtown's restaurants, shops, and hotels.

Transfer Orientation

Testing Office

This office provides testing related services in support of the educational development and success of students, including the EPT and ELM tests that are required before registering for SJSU classes. You can also get information on other SJSU and national tests, such as TEAS and WST.

University Housing Services

Learn more about SJSU's residence halls, meal plans, themed communities, and activities and leadership opportunities designed especially for resident students.

Veterans Services
