The Student Organizations and Leadership (S.O.A.L.) Team oversees the community of 350+ recognized student organizations at San José State University. The staff manages the official recognition process for student organizations, coordinates various programs and services, maintains communications with the campus community, organizes leadership retreats and workshops, and recognizes the positive achievements of student groups and staff.
The S.O.A.L. Team is comprised of full time professional staff and student staff members. The Professional Staff are specifically trained and educated in student development to best assist the student population at SJSU.
