What We Offer
Student Organization Fairs
As an opportunity to connect organizations with students, an Org Fair is a "can't miss" event taking place every semester. Organizations have a chance to recruit new members and showcase their activities, while students can explore ways to get involved and add more fun to their SJSU experience. Over 125 organizations tabled at the Fall 2012 fair! The event is free and and open to the entire SJSU student community. The Fall 2013 Student Organization Fair is scheduled for Wednesday, August 28 from 11am to 2pm on Tower Lawn.
Student Leadership Conference
The annual Student Leadership Conference is a comprehensive skills development and networking program for recognized SJSU student group leaders. Participants learn valuable leadership skills, team-building and organizational tools through a variety of workshops.
Student Organization Mailboxes
Student organizations are eligible to apply for a mailbox in order to receive both mail from campus departments and correspondence from off-campus. You can sign up for a mailbox online!
Website Space for Student Organizations
The university provides space for student organizations to create websites. Student organizations will access Web space via WebDAV and are welcome to use any tool of their choice to build their website. For more information or to apply for website space, visit the SJSU Web Services Team.
Student Organization Celebration & Awards
Each year, Student Involvement hosts events to celebrate the accomplishments and achievements of SJSU's 375+ student organizations and their officers. Taking place in late Spring, these events have become an annual tradition acknowledging the extraordinary contributions that student organizations make to campus life. Promoting Spartan Pride and Traditions
For over 150 years, student organizations have played a key role in establishing and maintaining pride in San José State University. We support that role by providing opportunities for student organizations to participate in major university traditions and celebrations like Homecoming. If you have a program you'd like the student organization community to participate in or if you're thinking about starting a new tradition, we encourage you to contact us.
