Annual Giving

Annual Giving supports students as they discover and work hard toward who they want to be—for themselves, for their families and for their community. Gifts provide ongoing support for innovative student programs, services and enrichment opportunities, help provide essential resources for colleges, schools and departments, and support SJSU’s greatest needs.

SJSU Annual Giving Spartan Pride Scholarship

“I appreciate every single dime donated as it will make a drastic difference in my life. As a child of two immigrants from Africa, education was and is the least of our worries as both of my parents struggled to put a roof over myself and my sibling’s head. Education was and is the only way to change my life for the better. This scholarship isn’t about the free money. It illustrates the sacrifices people give up for someone because they have faith in them to better this world. With that, I know I won’t disappoint.” - Catherine

SJSU Fund Student Support and Activities Award program

“Thank you to the alumni and other generous donors who made this award possible. Global Medical Brigades will put the funds to great use in planning for our trip to Nicaragua to give others in need a helping hand. Each and every member of our organization thanks you for your donation and allowing us the opportunity to reach out, as well as gain invaluable experience in the medical field and public health on our trip this year. Thank you, from SJSU Global Medical Brigades!” – Ashley, SJSU GMB President
