Application Process

Download the application packet 2019-2010 Application to draft all of your documents.  

You must complete the application documents in their entirety, including your student plan with your sponsor's approval signature.  Once you have collected all of your documents, email them Graduate Studies in one pdf document to  They will thereafter be submitted to a reviewer for approval or further suggestions/edits. Once your application has been approved, Graduate Studies will provide you with a code to upload your application to the Chancellor's Office.  Please submit your application as early as possible to Graduate Studies before the internal deadline of February 11, 2019 by 5:00 p.m. (PST).  This will allow a reviewer to provide you with the best possible feedback for a successful application.

While you complete the forms, you should also request a letter of recommendation from your faculty mentor.  Please ask your faculty mentor to review the recommendation prompt in your paper application. Graduate Studies does not need to have this letter to review your application, but it will need to be uploaded to the Chancellor's Office. This letter will be confidential.  Please do not ask your faculty mentor for a copy.

Online Submission Process:  Due 5:00 p.m. on 2/22/2019


You will be given login information to upload your application to the Chancellor's Office once it has been approved by Graduate Studies. 

Once you have submitted your application electronically to the Chancellor's Office, your faculty mentor will receive an email from the application portal (InfoReady) to upload their letter of recommendation directly, and confidentially, into your online application.  Please advise your faculty mentor to expect this after you have completed your online submission.
