Major/Minor Advising

If you are in need for major/minor advising, or questions pertaining to requirements of a specific major/minor and are not GE related, you may speak with faculty advisors in the College of the Humanities and the Arts.

Faculty advisors in the H&A College will meet with you to discuss pre-change of major/minor details, information about the major/minor, remaining major/minorrequirements, future academic planning, graduation application submission, and other.

Scholarships

The College of the Humanities and the Arts and Departments within the College awards scholarships based on academic performance, community contribution, and dedication to upholding the spirit of the humanities and the arts at SJSU.

Students in the College of the Humanities and the Arts may apply for scholarship opportunities through the Financial Aid and Scholarship Office (FASO). Scholarship cycles open annually during the summer.

Students will be notified in the fall of the year they applied for scholarships if they have been deemed a recipient of a scholarship.
